Job Description
We are looking at hiring candidates for Business Development at ourGurgaon office. The ideal candidate must have experience in Sales/Operations in the North region with good skills that knows the market tendency and can stay afloat in any situation. The candidate must have good conversation skills to collaborate with external sources as well as internal teams and arrive at a healthy and right proposal. Need to have client contacts, be able to open new and pursue new opportunities relentlessly. Candidatehas to work with Brand Planning and Brand Strategy teams to submit Bids/RFPs/Pitch Presentations etc.
About the role:
Key Responsibilities:
1.New Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target key industries and market segments.
- Conduct sales presentations and pitches to prospective clients, effectively communicating our agency's value proposition and service offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
2.Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all business inquiries and service needs.
- Actively engage with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and feedback, and provide strategic recommendations to address their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of services and solutions that meet client expectations.
- Regularly review client performance metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
3.Partnership Development:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary businesses, agencies, and industry influencers to expand our reach and capabilities.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and referral programs to drive mutual business growth.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish and strengthen partnerships within the digital marketing ecosystem.
4.Market Analysis and Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market changes.
- Analyze market data, client feedback, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and innovation in our service offerings.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales pipeline, client acquisition efforts, and market insights.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Masters/Bachelors + MBA degree & relevant experience (2-3 years)
- Ability to work on PowerPoint to create and deliver impactful presentations.
- Good spreadsheet skills MS Excel & Google sheets.
- Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or account management roles, preferably within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
