Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled GeoSpatial Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience in Java Core Java SQL and Unix. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our geospatial capabilities and ensuring the seamless integration of geospatial data.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java and Core Java to meet project requirements.Oversee the integration of geospatial data into existing systems to ensure seamless functionality.Provide technical expertise in SQL and Unix to optimize geospatial data processing and storage.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement geospatial solutions that align with business objectives.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to geospatial applications to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.Implement new features and enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business needs.Ensure the security and integrity of geospatial data through robust data management practices.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development to continuously improve our solutions.Document technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups to ensure timely delivery of projects.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to help them grow their skills and contribute effectively.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
