Job Description: Business Analyst 

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field 

Skills 

Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering 

- Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements 

- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories, acceptance criteria 

- Strong analytical skills to understand the business goals into features  

Process Modeling & Documentation 

- Proficiency in creating process flows, low-fidelity wireframes 

- Skilled in tools such as Draw.io, or equivalent 

- Experience in creating feature level mind maps  

Project Methodologies 

- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall frameworks 

- Experience in managing requirements across iterative development cycles 

Stakeholder Management 

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams 

- Ability to facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with business and technical stakeholders 

Tools & Platforms 

- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools 

- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 

Experience 

• 4+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role 

Good-to-Have Qualifications & Skills 

• Experience supporting change initiatives 

• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate adoption of new systems or processes by conducting training or feature documentation 

• Experience in pre-sales and creating Scope of work is an added advantage 

Education 

- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) 

- CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) 

- PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
