Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with deep expertise in the Oil & Gas industry , particularly Frac operations . The ideal candidate should have strong skills in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and data visualization , and be capable of translating complex business needs into actionable insights and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oil & Gas focusing on Frac operations, drilling, and production analytics.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories for SaaS-based solutions.
• Design and validate data-driven charts and visualizations (e.g., time-series graphs, pressure vs. depth charts).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to gather requirements and ensure delivery accuracy.
• Identify and improve existing workflows for enhanced operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Oil & Gas software solutions .
• Strong understanding of Frac operations, drilling, completions, and reservoir engineering .
• Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oil & Gas SaaS providers .
• Familiarity with machine learning applications for predictive analytics.
• Understanding of industry standards such as WITSML, PPDM, and RESQML.
