Role and Responsibilities

Operations Excellence Operate and monitor data center facilities at site/region level to ensure 100% uptime Perform risk identification, mitigation, and corrective/preventive maintenance of critical BMS, FAS, and fire suppression systems (24x7 operations) Ensure infrastructure availability through continuous monitoring and timely response Manage BMS-related assets, inventory, and security incidents Create, track, and analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement Establish performance benchmarks and respond effectively to contingency situations Support implementation of service methodologies including incident, problem, change, and capacity management Review AMC and SLA compliance and improve operational procedures to meet service quality and customer SLAs Support procurement of facility operations materials and assist in budget management Participate in internal and external audits

Customer & Stakeholder Management Maintain transparent, timely communication with management regarding facility operations Build and maintain professional relationships with facility partners, DC construction teams, technical program managers, and security teams Coordinate with cross-functional teams and business leaders to optimize safety, reliability, performance, and efficiency Handle customer visits, queries, and site-related discussions Support project feasibility studies as per site requirements Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve processes, quality, and service delivery Technical Responsibilities & Skills Knowledge of utility systems including: o Generators, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, UPS, PAC units o Electrical sub-distribution systems and power panels o Fire alarm and fire suppression systems Hands-on experience with BMS / automated control systems o Preferred exposure to Honeywell EBI and XLS 1000 Fire Alarm Panels Experience with DDC controllers, BMS graphics, and control logic Strong knowledge of open protocols: Modbus RTU/485, Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet MSTP/IP, HART, SNMP Experience integrating ELV systems: Water Leak Detection, Rodent Repellent, Fire Suppression Systems Basic understanding of IP networks, Windows OS, and web services

End-to-end fault diagnosis and rectification of BMS servers, controllers, sensors, and field devices Analyze software and hardware issues to minimize service impact and operational risk Identify and recommend energy-saving initiatives Escalate repeat failures or capital replacement requirements Support risk registers, condition surveys, audits, and operational databases Follow internal audit processes and monitoring methodologies Demonstrate customer-focused mindset with 24x7 operational ownership

Eligibility Education ITI / NCTVT / Equivalent qualification Experience 58 years of relevant experience in BMS / ELV systems Data center experience preferred
