BoM Mgmt & DMU Engineer

You’ll be our: BoM Mgmt. & DMU Engineer

You’ll be based at: IBC, Bangalore

You’ll be Aligned with: Team Lead - BoM Management & DMU

You’ll be a member of: Mechanical Engineering 

What you’ll do at Ather:

• Vehicle packaging, Concept generation, and Layout creation

• Perform the change content identification, Impact Analysis & highlight risks

• Vehicle Interaction Study - DMU Check, Report and drive closure

• Add-delete sheet preparation at every stage of the project.

• Managing the model and variants EBOM and layout with variants rule creation

• Should know the system release process with an understanding of the release workflow cycle and change management.

• Product Configurator - Tool knowledge, EBOM variants, MBOM variants

• EBOM & MBOM Part Validation & Release based on VI checklist.

• BOM Audit and Closure

• TC Enhancements/Customisation - Staging validation and Deployment Sign Off

• 3D and 2D drawing creation at part, subassembly, and layout level following the Coordinate system. (GCS and VCS)

• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Here’s what we are looking for:

• CAD tools experience in Teamcenter, UG Nx, CATIA, and SAP/ERP exposure.

• Python or equivalent coding software.

• Knowhow on system-level packaging studies and interaction checks

• DFx of automobiles ( DFA, DFM, DFS), e2W knowledge is an advantage.

• Experience on Teamcenter, E-Bom, MBOM, release and version management.

• Design process/CAD automation using NX Open AI.

What You bring to Ather:

• B.Tech or equivalent with Specialization in Mechanical Engineering/Machine design
