BIM Lead - MEP

We are looking for a BIM Team Lead MEP to manage day-to-day modeling, coordination, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing BIM projects. The role involves leading a team of BIM designers while ensuring quality and timely project execution and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience

Qualification:Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering or related field.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience working on US or international projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination workflows.
• Good communication and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Delivery

• Setting up Revit models on ACC.
• Lead MEP Revit model development (LOD 300 - 400) in Revit.

-HVAC duct and piping layouts

-Plumbing piping layouts

-Electrical and lighting device placement, conduit layout, cable tray layout

-Electrical circuiting in Revit

• Create and modify Revit families per requirement.
• Create and modify Revit MEP schedules per requirement.
• Regular Copy/Monitor of elements in Revit model.
• Ensure adherence to project BEP, client standards, and internal workflows.
• Manage clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.

2. Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide BIM designers
• Allocate tasks, review models, and ensure technical accuracy.
• Mentor team members and support skill development.
• Coordinate workload planning with senior management.

3.Coordination & Communication

• Participate in regular client coordination calls.
• Track and resolve RFIs, clash reports, and coordination issues.

4.Quality Control

• Conduct model audits and ensure compliance according to BIM and client standards
• Ensure documentation, shop drawings, and deliverables meet project requirements.
