Billing Executive

Location: Pune (On-site)

Experience: 13 years (Billing / Invoicing roles)

Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate (Commerce, Finance or related field preferred)

About the Role

We are looking for a Billing Executive to join our finance operations team at a fast-growing digital marketing agency. This is a core billing-focused role, responsible for managing client invoicing, ensuring commercial accuracy, and maintaining smooth end-to-end billing cycles across multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and issue accurate client invoices as per agreed commercials and contracts
• Manage the complete billing lifecycle from invoice preparation to final dispatch
• Ensure timely invoicing across multiple client accounts
• Coordinate with client servicing teams for billing inputs and clarifications
• Maintain billing trackers, documentation, and invoice records
• Monitor billing timelines and follow internal processes strictly
• Assist with GST/TDS/VAT related billing documentation and invoice compliance
• Update billing data in ERP / billing systems
• Resolve invoice discrepancies or client queries related to billing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 13 years of hands-on experience specifically in billing and invoicing
• Strong understanding of invoicing processes and commercial documentation
• Working knowledge of GST/TDS/VAT in relation to invoicing
• Familiarity with Tally or similar billing/ERP software
• Proficiency in MS Excel (invoice tracking, basic formulas, reconciliation support)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple client billing cycles simultaneously
