The Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the health and integrity of our data protection environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Backup Operations: Managing and completing daily, weekly, and monthly server backups.
- Service Management: Handling incident and service request fulfillment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Reporting: Creating detailed backup-related reports for stakeholder review.
- Coordination: Working closely with Vendors and OEMs for technical support and upgrades.
Technical Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in the following tools and technologies:
- Core Suites: Deep knowledge of EMC Avamar and Networker .
- Storage & Recovery: Experience with EMC Data Domain and Recovery Point .
- Cloud Solutions: Experience with Druva cloud-based backup for Endpoints and VMs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: EMC Certified Networker Specialist or EMC Certified Avamar Specialist.
- Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate basic to advanced knowledge across different backup tools and technologies.
