Backend Founding Engineer

Were building a platform that helps brands get discovered in AI search (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity), backed by a well-known company in the industry .

This is an early-stage product where backend architecture, scale, and execution speed really matter.

What youll work on

• Design and build scalable backend systems
• Work primarily with Node.js (Express / similar)
• Use Python (FastAPI or similar) where required for AI / data workflows
• Integrate with LLMs and AI APIs

What were looking for

• Strong backend fundamentals (language-agnostic mindset)
• Comfortable with Node.js and open to working with Python when needed
• Experience designing:
• APIs
• Databases (NoSQL)
• Scalable systems
• Interest in AI, LLMs, and data-driven products
• Startup mindset - comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration

Nice to have

• Experience with:
• FastAPI or Python backend services
• Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Railway / Vercel)
• Background jobs, queues, caching
• Previous early-stage startup or 01 experience
