Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance backend systems using Python-based frameworks. You will work on core APIs, integrations, and data-driven platforms that power e-commerce and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
• Build and optimize applications using Python, FastAPI, Django, and Flask
• Develop and manage databases using MongoDB and other data stores
• Implement caching, search, and messaging solutions using Redis and Elasticsearch
• Integrate cloud services, including Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 24 years of experience in backend development using Python
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Django, and Flask
• Hands-on expertise with MongoDB and schema design for scalable systems
• Experience using Redis for caching and performance optimization
• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch for search and analytics
• Experience integrating and managing Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and backend architecture
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and marketplace integrations
• Knowledge of system monitoring, logging, and performance tuning
