Experience: 2 5 Years

Mandatory Technical Skills

Azure Cosmos DB: Deep understanding of architecture and APIs (SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).

SQL Services: Azure SQL DB, Managed Instance, and MS SQL Server.

Database Admin: Backup, Restore, Recovery, High Availability (Replication, Log Shipping).

Data Tools: Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse.

NoSQL: Strong knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Support big data production environments (Cloud & On-prem).

Troubleshoot complex database issues using diagnostic tools and log analysis.

Perform performance tuning, integrity checks, and index reorganization.

Role Description

The Azure SQL DBA Support Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. Responsibilities include managing and administering Azure SQL databases, troubleshooting database performance issues, implementing database design solutions, and ensuring database optimization and integrity. The individual will collaborate with teams to provide support for database replication and perform routine maintenance to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in Database Administration and managing Azure SQL environments
• Proficiency in Database Design and ensuring performance optimization
• Skilled in Troubleshooting database-related issues and maintaining system integrity
• Expertise in handling Databases and implementing replication processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure, is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

Ideal Candidate

2 to 5 years in technical support or consulting.

Certifications in Azure Cosmos DB or Azure Data Platform are a big plus.

Experience working with SQL Server / Azure SQL databases.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced development environment.
