Azure Migration Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Migration Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, automation, and hybrid cloud ecosystems. The ideal candidate will lead cloud architecture initiatives, guide cloud adoption, support modernization programs, and architect endtoend enterprise cloud solutions aligned with business goals.

Mandatory Technical Skill Set

• Advanced (L3) expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures , including Azure, AWS, onprem, and private cloud
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong background in cloud migrations from onprem to Azure

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Delivery

• Design and deliver enterprisegrade Azure cloud architecture solutions to meet strategic business needs.
• Lead cloud architects to deliver solutions for Cloud Data Center (CDC) initiatives.
• Architect scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, on-prem, and private cloud environments.

Automation & Modernization

• Develop automation frameworks using Terraform and Ansible .
• Support modernization initiatives by planning and designing cloud-native solutions.

Migration & Integration

• Provide technical leadership for application and infrastructure migration from on-prem data centers to Azure.
• Build and manage Hybrid Cloud with seamless Single SignOn (SSO) using Azure AD .

Architecture Governance

• Translate organizational requirements into cloud architecture models and frameworks.
• Continuously update architecture models as technology and business needs evolve.
• Define and document cloud solution architectures, including technical designs and architectural diagrams .

Security & Compliance

• Work closely with IT security teams to ensure compliance with cloud security and privacy standards.
• Strong understanding of FedRAMP standards.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and application architects to design robust cloud solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on infrastructure and application architecture across Azure PaaS and SaaS.

Cost Optimization

• Demonstrate expertise in Azure cloud cost models , budgeting, and cost optimization strategies.

Must-Have Competencies

• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Cloud (PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong experience in hybrid cloud strategies, SSO integrations, management, and monitoring.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure architecture , application architecture, and cloud services.
• Sound knowledge of AWS and VMWare environments.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud migration and enterprise-scale design.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Azure Architect Certification (AZ300/301 or equivalent)
• Advanced skills in Azure PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
• Strong communication skills for interacting with leadership and technical teams
