As a Software Developer Specialist, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical solutions to new and existing customers leveraging the AxiomSL ControllerView Platform and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry.
We are now looking for a Regulatory Application Architect to strengthen the AxiomSL Regulatory Applications Architect team. You will be responsible for driving the execution of initiatives across the Nasdaq AxiomSL tecchnology portfolio of Software Products.

Join the development organization for Nasdaq AxiomSL. The main objective for the AxiomSL development team in Pune is to build state-of-the-art regulatory calculations and reporting solutions for our global financial services clients. As a new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for the delivery of enhancements and supporting re-architecture of the enterprise product to new software paradigms.
Your role and responsibilities:
You will lead architecture discussions about the design and build of AxiomSL regulatory solutions and be hands-on with the development of the solutions working with other product development teams.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility. The Architecture team supports all AxiomSL Regulatory Products development teams, so you will also be involved with helping and assisting with other global initiatives and projects.
Furthermore, you will:
Propose solution designs or review proposed solution designs put forward by Application Development Leads for various products and sign off on the design;
Build or assist Application Development staff with the development of complex product features using ControllerView and coordinate with Business Analysts for clarification of requirements, discuss and agree on the design and build approach with the Head of Solution Architecture as needed
Be a key point of contact for Application Development Leads around troubleshooting and performance optimizations;
Assist the Head of Solution Architecture with the implementation of any automation or other processes across product teams;
Act as backup for Application Development Leads from time to time on products;
Participate in planning as requested by Application Development Leads to ensure Application Development tasks have the required time, resources and any dependencies are factored into product development plans;
Raise and escalate development issues on products as you become aware of them to the Head of Solution Architecture and Project Manager / Product Owner as necessary and propose actions on ways to resolve
Communicate with Application Development Leads across the Product team to help share knowledge, testing approaches, and tools.
Participate in interviews and training of Application Development staff as required.
We expect you to have:
At least 5-8 years of software development experience
An excellent understanding of the AxiomSL ControllerView Platform;
Strong written and verbal English in business and technical contexts
Knowledge of the software development lifecycles – particularly Agile and Prototype approaches
Proficient in database query writing - preferably Oracle or MS SQL Server
Proficient in Excel and experience with data modeling and ETL processes
Knowledge of Python or R programming languages and a good understanding of XML/XBRL
Jenkins declarative pipelines
Basic Groovy scripting
Basic understanding of REST APIs and networks
Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to understand and tackle problems
Agile, dynamic, proactive personality.
Ability to multi-task and the ability to quickly transition as priorities change to meet demands.
High sense of intellectual curiosity – self-ownership of learning and horizon-broadening opportunities.
Education Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or other related degrees.
It would be great if you
Prior banking or financial regulation analysis experience.
AxiomSL CV Scripting Language experience
Experience with other programming languages like Java.
A good understanding of one of AxiomSL’s Regulatory Solutions.
