Who we are looking for

A key member of AWS Platform engineering team, who will be responsible to drive design and implementation of best-in-class AWS Cloud infrastructure to support State Street’s security, governance, and workload requirements. We are looking for an engineering focused and experienced AWS Engineer with strong grounding on core cloud concepts, AWS services, Infrastructure as Code/Terraform and is able design and implement robust and automated solutions.

What you will be responsible for

As an AWS Platform Engineer, you will

• Design and build robust, scalable and secure technical solutions on the AWS Cloud.

• Work with platform architects to define components responsibilities, plan components evolution, and ensure components will meet platform needs.

• Will be responsible for service enablement on AWS based on use case requirements

• Design AWS services based on AWS best practice and Security baseline.

• Use IAC(Terraform) to develop hardened AWS service modules.

• Develop Policy As a code for AWS environment.

• Utilize native AWS services to meet the firm’s technology and resiliency requirements.

• Drive Identity and access and configuration management, and monitoring strategy for AWS

• Work to ensure automated and manual test needs.

• Work with software development leads to understand workload requirements and guide them to the best leverage of cloud services, optimizing for performance, cost and architectural flexibility

• Create automation scripts for all phases of SDLC

• Performing other tasks as defined, planned, and approved by team lead

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline

• 10+ years of IT experience in a hands on role with 5+ years of experience designing and supporting AWS environments

• Understanding of Agile delivery process is required.

• Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud native design patterns and infrastructure as code

• Appropriate certifications are strongly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of core infrastructure concepts as well as DevOps principles

• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies with demonstrated hands-on experience

• Strong IAC experience is must – Terraform.

• Demonstrated experience in automation and AWS service enablement

• Ability to develop and document deliverables compliant with established company design control and regulatory statutes

• Experience with AWS Governance and Best Practices (AWS Policy, Reliability, Observability and Role Based Access Control, Networking Architectures etc.)

• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

• Authentication Protocols in AWS, Windows and Linux

• Testing experience is plus.

• Financial services or regulated industry experience a huge plus

• AWS Policy, Reliability, Observability and RBAC and Networking Architecture

• Authentication Protocols in AWS, Windows, Unix

Work Schedule

• No Hybrid Working. It is fully Working from Office

• Schedule – 3 pm to 12 am IST

• Location – Bangalore or Hyderabad only (Candidates not willing to relocate need not apply)
