AV CAD Design- Lead

Role Overview

Bring your creativity and technical expertise to our team as an AV CAD Design- Lead. You'll transform ideas into detailed, high-quality CAD drawings that power cutting-edge AV solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the precision and success of every project we deliver.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D & 3D CAD drawings for AV systems schematics, wiring diagrams, layout plans, elevations, and more.
• Work closely with project engineers & managers to understand design requirements and translate them into precise drawings.
• Develop AV system schematics including audio, video, lighting, and control systems.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards , client specifications & company guidelines.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer, client, or project manager feedback.
• Maintain and manage CAD libraries, templates & blocks for efficient workflows.
• Collaborate with electrical, architectural, and other technical teams to ensure seamless design integration.
• Support installation teams with drawing-related clarifications and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD tools, technologies & AV design trends.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in CAD drafting (experience in AV /interiors/commercial interiors preferred) with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD ; knowledge of AV, or architectural drawings is a plus.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to produce highly accurate, clean, and professional technical drawings.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
