JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must have:

8 - 10 years of experience in test automation as an SDET in BFSI domain.

Strong programming skills in Java , Python , or C# .

Experience with automation tools like Selenium , RestAssured , Postman , TestNG , or Cypress .

Hands-on experience with API testing , database validation , and performance testing .

Familiarity with commercial insurance systems and workflows.

Good exposure to Gen AI, LLMs

Responsibilities:

Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for:
• Claims intake, adjudication, and settlement
• Underwriting rules, risk scoring, and policy issuance
• Build reusable components for UI, API, and data validation testing.

Test Strategy & Execution

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA teams to understand test requirements.
• Implement test automation strategies aligned with business workflows.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results for functional and regression testing.

CI/CD Integration

• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab , or Azure DevOps .
• Ensure automated tests are triggered during code check-ins and deployments.

Defect Management & Reporting

• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Provide detailed test execution reports and metrics to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with developers, BAs, and QA leads to ensure test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to testability improvements.
