We are now looking for

Automation – Senior Test Engineer, Onsite & Field Maintenance Tribe

to join our team of experts at the KONE R&D. You will work together with other professionals to test the advanced digital remote monitoring applications to monitor our escalators and elevators.

You are passionate in testing the applications end-to-end in both manual and automation, CI/CD pipeline, always aiming for quality, speed (i.e.) on-time delivery, and testing practices optimization. As Senior Test Engineer you will work in a highly motivated team in charge to test the quality of the software application developed.

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for automation test script development using Python and Squish.
• Ensure overall Application SW quality before releasing to next level of testing.
• Propose new tools/technique to develop the test automation capabilities further.
• Responsible to manage the test environment for mobile application testing.
• Create understandable, simple, scalable, and best quality automation test cases to verify and validate the software application quality.
• Responsible for verifying and validate the software quality.
• Should support the development team to release the software on time.
• Implement the new technique and innovative idea to reduce the test execution time and improve test quality.
• Report the software defect in acceptable way on time.
• Review the test cases.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering – EEE / ECE / E&I.
• Minimum 6+ Years of Experience in Test Automation as Test case Developer from Mobile / Web / Cloud domain using Python.
• Good knowledge and experience in test tools like Squish Framework, Jenkins, Jira, GitLab or Git.
• Develop and maintain test environments; preferrable to have Hardware knowledge.
• Maintain 5S & Safety work culture in Laboratory.
• Experience in test planning and automation test case designing for Mobile SW application.
• Experience in test library development using python.
• Experience in test environment preparation for Mobile application testing.
• Familiar with Linux environment.
• Good Understanding of SW testing cycle.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
