Job Description

The Associate Water at GCC India is responsible for delivering highquality wetutilities engineering and hydraulic modelling services that support Middle East (ME) Water projects. The role ensures seamless collaboration with regional ME teams by providing technically sound designs, analyses, and documentation across multiple stages of project development. The position also contributes to strengthening capability, operational efficiency, and technical excellence within the GCC delivery model.


Responsibilities :


  • Lead the development of potable water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, and firefighting network designs for ME projects.
  • Experienced in advanced hydraulic modelling using WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, CivilStorm, InfoWorks ICM, InfoDrainage and other MEapproved software tools.
  • Participate in preparing feasibility studies, master planning inputs, detailed engineering reports, and tenderready design packages.
  • Perform surge analysis, pressure assessment, and network optimisation tasks to support system performance reviews.
  • Knowledge in hydrological analyses, catchment assessments, and 1D/2D flood modelling for regional ME assignments is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the preparation of flood risk assessments, hazard maps, drainage impact analyses, and mitigation design elements is an added advantage for the role.


2. Quality, Standards & Compliance

  • Review engineering drawings, BIM models (LOD 300), standard details, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to Middle East codes, client standards, and GCC India QA/QC processes.
  • Contribute to internal design reviews, technical validations, and documentation quality checks.

3. Collaboration, Coordination & Team Support

  • Work closely with ME T&I project managers, discipline leads, and other engineering units to support integrated project delivery.
  • Coordinate effectively across time zones between GCC India and ME regional teams to maintain smooth workflow and clarity in design outputs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and BIM modellers within the GCC India Water team to strengthen capability maturity.
  • Support proposal inputs, BOQs, design clarifications, and crossdiscipline coordination on assigned projects.
  • Resource Planning to maintain the utilisation of the GCC, India team and drive efficiency for the design production.


  • Masters degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Typically 15- 10 years of relevant experience in water/wetutilities design, preferably supporting MEregion projects.
  • Proven experience in delivering concepttodetailed design across water, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation systems.
  • Professionally qualified or working towards Chartered Professional qualifications is a must.
  • Familiarity with GCC India delivery frameworks and global engineering collaboration models is a plus.
