Associate Product Manager – Payments (Middle East)

FirstCry is Asias largest omnichannel platform for baby & kids products, and our Middle East division is scaling rapidly across UAE & KSA.

About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy Associate Product Manager Payments who can optimize checkout performance, improve payment success rates in a multi-currency environment, and leverage AI to enhance product delivery. This role sits at the intersection of Payments, Data, and Customer Experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for payment modules (ideation to launch)
• Create PRDs, user stories & wireframes
• Analyze transaction failures, bin-level performance & gateway latencies
• Drive payment Success Rate (SR) optimization
• Partner with Business, Operations & Engineering teams
• Lead QA & UAT cycles for seamless releases
• Conduct deep research on ME payment trends (BNPL, COD, digital wallets)
• Use AI tools to improve documentation, testing & insights

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech (CS preferred)
• MBA from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institute (preferred)

Required Skills

• 13 years in Product Management (Fintech / E-commerce / Payments preferred)
• Strong understanding of Payment Gateways & API integrations
• Knowledge of card-bin analysis & multi-currency checkout flows
• Hands-on with Google Analytics 4, SQL, Tableau/PowerBI/Looker
• Experience with Figma/Miro/Balsamiq
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
• Self-driven, analytical & customer-obsessed mindset

• Experience in diverse payment ecosystems such as:
• Mada
• Apple Pay
• STC Pay
• Directly impact the growth of a fast-scaling international e-commerce business in the GCC region.
