Associate Manager - Weaving

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:

  • Supervise loom operations and ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate shift planning and manpower allocation.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure woven fabric meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to address defects and implement corrective actions.

• Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate loom operators and technicians.
  • Conduct training sessions on machine handling, safety, and quality practices.

• Maintenance Coordination:

  • Work with maintenance teams to ensure timely servicing and repair of looms.
  • Maintain records of machine performance and maintenance schedules.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements in weaving processes.
  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology / Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in weaving operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of weaving machinery (e.g., airjet, rapier, projectile looms).
• Familiarity with production planning and quality control systems.
