About the Team

The Investments team at Navi manages our portfolio of investment products, including mutual funds and digital gold. The team is responsible for conceptualizing new investment solutions and expanding the customer base for existing products, driving growth and accessibility in the investment space.


About the Role

The Sales function for an Asset Management Company (AMC) is a role focused on driving the growth of the firm's Assets Under Management (AUM). The key responsibilities in this role will include developing and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with banks, registered investment advisors (RIA), corporates and mutual fund distributors. The role involves meeting ambitious sales targets for the AMCs key schemes.


Must Haves

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales preferably in the AMC, Banking or Insurance space
  • NISM certification in the relevant sales module
  • A rigorous and structured approach toward building and scaling relationships with key sales counters like Mutual fund distributors, Registered investment advisors, Banks and Corporates.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ability to build rapport and influence key internal and external stakeholders


What We Expect From You

  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for various mutual fund schemes (equity, debt, hybrid, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with banks, registered investment advisors (RIA), corporates and mutual fund distributors to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable investment solutions.
  • Actively prospect for and acquire new clients and distributors, expanding the customer base and market share within the assigned territory.
  • Organize investor awareness programs (IAPs), distributor training sessions, and presentations for clients and distribution partners to educate them about our offerings and market trends.
  • Monitor market conditions, track competitor activities, and provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management using CRM tools.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all SEBI/AMFI regulations, company policies, and complete necessary documentation and KYC formalities accurately.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts and ensure a seamless client experience.
