Associate - Electronics and Communication

We are looking for a professional to join our Patent Litigation team , with strong technical expertise in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Communication Technologies . The role involves handling complex patent disputes, analyzing technology-intensive matters, and supporting litigation strategy across multiple forums.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and handle patent infringement litigations , revocation actions, oppositions, and other contentious IP proceedings.
• Analyse patents, claims, prior art, and technical documents related to electronics, telecom, semiconductor, and communication technologies.
• Support preparation of pleadings, written submissions, evidence, and cross-examination briefs.
• Work closely with technical experts to build strong legal and technical positions.
• Conduct detailed legal and technical research relevant to patent disputes.
• Participate in court hearings, client meetings, and litigation strategy discussions.
• Manage documentation, filings, timelines, and coordination with internal teams.
• Keep updated on emerging standards and technologies such as 4G/5G/6G, IoT, semiconductor design, and AI-driven communication systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering is mandatory.
• LL.B. degree and valid enrolment with a State Bar Council.
• 37 years of experience in Patent Litigation / IP Litigation (adjustable as per requirement).
• Strong understanding of patent law, claim interpretation, infringement analysis, and technical mapping.
• Ability to interpret complex technical concepts and convert them into clear legal arguments.
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with telecom standards, SEPs, or FRAND-related matters is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage deadlines in a litigation environment.
