About the role

We are looking for a self-motivated professional to lead the communication charter for business categories and corporate programs. We want a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role will be part of the external corporate communications team within the Flipkart Corporate Affairs team and will report to the Group Head of Communications.

What you will be doing:

The Associate Director will work with marketing teams across categories to develop proactive communication plans and campaigns and support them in external communication as required. Develop relevant documentation and messaging for categories being managed. Support business announcements and programs as required.

Work closely with the leadership team and provide relevant guidance to ensure sustained and clear communication on the business.

Manage media relationships to develop and create effective brand stories.

Ensure effective partnerships with an external PR agency and other vendors.

Requirements

Bachelors degree and any qualification in Communications or Journalism

14+ years of communications experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to influence stakeholders at leadership levels

Experience in the consumer and tech industry will be an advantage

Exemplary verbal and written communication skills (additional language skills a plus) Understanding of media and digital space

Reputation Management, Social Media Strategist, Stakeholder Management
