Assistant Vice President - Data Modeler – Finance.

Deep Domain Expertise:

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for core finance processes, including financial transactions, revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and treasury operations.

Develop data models that address core business functions and industry challenges, ensuring they are aligned with evolving operational needs.

Translate complex business processes into well-structured data architectures that support both transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) environments.

Collaboration & Leadership:

Collaborate with key Finance stakeholders including decision-makers (CFO, finance directors), financial analysts, operational users like AP, AR, Treasury teams, and compliance and audit teams.

Engage with these personas to gather and interpret data requirements, ensuring models are tailored to drive actionable insights and support effective decision-making.

Build empathy-driven models that reflect the real-world needs and challenges of each user group.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers and analysts.

Facilitate review sessions and present model designs to stakeholders.
