Job Title: Assistant Professor

(Specializations: Finance, Human Resource Management, Business AnalyticsOperations)

Role & Responsibilities

• Teaching core and elective courses across MBA programmes.
• Academic advising, mentoring, and supervision of student research, live projects, capstone projects, internships, and industry-linked assignments.
• Design and implementation of experiential, case-based, and tool-driven pedagogy, including lab-based learning for Analytics / Operations courses.
• Contribution to curriculum design, assessment frameworks, and assurance of learning metrics in line with accreditation and ranking requirements.
• Active engagement in research, publications, and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) aligned with career advancement norms.
• Support for accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance processes.
• Collaboration with industry through projects, certifications, skill-based initiatives, and academicindustry partnerships, particularly for Analytics and Finance specializations.

Minimum Eligibility and Qualifications

• Masters degree with First Class or equivalent (For HRM / OB Management or a related discipline with HRM/OB as specialization; For Business Analytics MBA / PGDM (Business Analytics / Operations / Systems / Analytics); M.Sc. (Statistics / Data Science / Analytics); or M.Tech. (Data Analytics / AI / allied areas); For Finance - MBA / PGDM (Finance); M.Com. (Finance / Accounting); or CA / ICWA)
• NET / SET in relevant discipline (exempted for PhDs).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience (teaching / research / industry) after Masters.

Desirable Qualifications

Assistant Professor HRM / OB (Vacancy = 01)

• PhD awarded or near completion in HRM / OB / Industrial Relations / Talent Management / Organizational Psychology from premier institutions.
• Exposure to case-based teaching and experiential pedagogy.
• Industry-recognized certifications in HR Analytics, Talent Management, Labour Laws, or allied areas.
• Domain Expertise HRM, OB, Talent Acquisition and Performance Management, L&D, Labour Laws, Strategic HRM and HR Analytics.
• Four or more years of relevant experience and strong research orientation with publications.

Assistant Professor Business Analytics / Data Science / Operations (Vacancy = 01)

• PhD awarded or near completion in Analytics / Data Science / Operations / Decision Sciences from premier institutions.
• Industry exposure in analytics-driven roles.
• Certifications in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, or similar tools.
• Ability to integrate analytics with business decision-making and experiential learning.
• Domain Expertise Statistical Analysis and Data Visualization for Management, Python, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain Analytics, Big Data Analytics for Business, AI-ML, etc.

Assistant Professor Finance (Vacancy = 01)

• PhD awarded or near completion in Finance / Accounting / Banking / Financial Economics from premier institutions.
• Industry exposure in banking, financial services, corporate finance, or consulting.
• Professional certifications such as CFA (Level I/II), FRM, or advanced financial modelling.
• Domain Expertise Corporate Finance and Valuation, Financial Markets and Institutions, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Management Accounting and Financial Reporting, and FinTech and Financial Analytics.
