Job Description
Position: Assistant Professor Computer Science & Engineering
Location: Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, Karnataka (Harohalli Campus)
Experience: 3-5 Years with Mandatory PHD in CSE or related field.
Qualifications:
- PhD in CSE or closely related discipline (e.g., Cybersecurity, AI/ML, Data Science) mandatory
- Proven research output: 4 papers in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
- Strong academic record at UG and PG levels (First Class preferred).
Desired Profile:
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring undergraduates/postgraduates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Represents a strong potential for growing research, with a publication track record.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Teach core and elective CSE courses at UG & PG levels (e.g., Data Structures, Algorithms, ML, Cybersecurity).
- Develop course materials: syllabus, lesson plans, labs, assessments.
- Mentor students on projects, provide guidance for internships and placements.
- Lead or participate in research: publish papers, secure funding, guide PhD/MS scholars.
- Support curriculum development aligned with AICTE and UGC standards.
- Serve on university committees (admissions, exams, student welfare, etc.).
- Engage in consultancy, workshops, and conferences; collaborate with industry; supervise student activities.
