Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for executing and improving the process that enables the Services Sourcing team to place more POs on suppliers qualified to make the parts. This will include working with Supplier Quality and Engineering to understand qualification / classification status and requirements; as well as with Sourcing to utilize options such as obtaining quotes for qualified suppliers and diverting POs to qualified suppliers.
Will working closely with both the Supplier Quality and sourcing teams and understand and comply with GEs quality systems requirements.
This person also will help to coordinate the execution on the FPQs and help to create visibility on Prioritization based on customer need

Minimum Qualifications

Good experience in Supplier Quality.
Sourcing and engineering experience a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Able to read and understand engineering drawings and discuss attributes with both supplier quality and design engineers.
Able to learn business processes (quality and sourcing) and digital systems quickly.
Process mindset, attentive to details.
Familiar with lean and problem solving principles.
Comfortable working with large data sets and working in a fast paced, global environment.
Good communication skills.
