About the Role

We are looking for a driven and performance-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) with strong experience in medical devices, preferably in cardiovascular or paediatric cardiology segments.

This role requires hands-on territory ownership across 34 states, with a strong focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 market expansion, key account management, and distributor development.

Key Responsibilities

Area Sales Management

• Drive primary & secondary sales across assigned states
• Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets
• Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in emerging markets

Key Account Development

• Build strong relationships with cardiologists, paediatric cardiologists, cathlab technicians & hospital stakeholders
• Conduct product demonstrations & clinical presentations
• Provide post-sales coordination and customer support

Market Expansion

• Map new hospitals & cathlabs for business development
• Execute CMEs, promotional initiatives & product awareness programs
• Lead challenging market penetration projects in competitive landscapes

Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain sales forecasts & CRM updates
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations & company policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences / Business / Marketing (MBA preferred)
• 46 years of experience in medical device sales
• Mandatory experience in Tier 2 & Tier 3 markets
• Exposure to cathlab & cardiovascular devices (good to have)
• Excellent presentation & communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
