Job Title: Area Sales Manager – General Trade (Urban)
Location: Kolkata
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Role Summary:
Responsible for driving sales, managing distributors, and leading the frontline sales team in urban general trade markets. Ensures strong market execution, availability, visibility, and coverage to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve primary & secondary sales targets for the assigned urban area

  • Manage distributor network and ensure ROI

  • Lead and develop Sales Officers / TSIs

  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution growth

  • Execute trade promotions and market development activities

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities


    Salary Range - 10 LPA to 14 LPA (Fixed)



Requirements:

  • MBA is mandatory

  • 10 to 14 years of FMCG sales experience, with 2+ years in team handling

  • Strong in distribution management, retail execution, and leadership

  • Proficient in Excel and reporting
