Summary: The Senior Azure Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated data solutions using the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in data engineering, with extensive experience in data integration, transformation, and modeling. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, big data technologies, and data architecture principles, along with strong leadership skills. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services. - Architect and maintain advanced data storage solutions, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics. - Develop and enforce best practices for data modeling, schemas, and metadata to ensure data consistency and integrity. - Optimize and fine-tune data solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability. - Integrate complex data from various sources, including on-premises databases, cloud-based data sources, and external APIs. - Transform, cleanse, and enrich data to meet intricate business requirements and ensure high data quality. - Implement and manage sophisticated data orchestration workflows to automate data processing tasks efficiently. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and team members. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather detailed data requirements and deliver tailored solutions. - Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of data solutions. - Implement and oversee data security and governance policies to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. - Continuously monitor and enhance data solutions for optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Professional & Technical Skills: - 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a significant focus on cloud platforms. - Proven experience in designing and developing complex data solutions on Microsoft Azure. - Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Scala for advanced data processing and analysis. - Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Advanced knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services. - Experience with Data Visualization. - Experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks. - Experience with Microsoft Azure Databases Infrastructure. - -Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms. - -Hands-on experience implementing various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms. - -Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 11 years of relevent technical experience mentioned above. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15 years full-time education is required
