Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the application development process and contribute to the success of the project. Roles & Responsibilities: -PeopleSoft FSCM 9,1 or above - Should have experience in Functional Design Draft - Knowledge of configurations / setups of PeopleSoft Financials - Knowledge of General finance fundamental concepts / processes - Should have experience in new development, modifications / medium to complex customization Online pages, App Engines, App Packages etc - Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications - Should have knowledge of procure to pay, asset management functional domain - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and develop applications based on business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. - Create technical specifications and design documents. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Conduct unit testing and support system testing activities. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the continuous improvement of application development processes. - Contribute to the documentation of application design and development activities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft Payables. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with PeopleSoft Financials Procure to Pay. - Strong understanding of application design principles and best practices. - Experience in designing and developing applications using Oracle PeopleSoft Payables. - Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials Procure to Pay module. - Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL for database interactions. - Knowledge of PeopleSoft People Tools, PeopleSoft upgrade, App Designer, People Code, SQR, App Engine, App Packages, Integration Broker, PS/Query - Experience of financials modules like BI, AR, CM, KK, AP, Banking, AM, CM and GL. - Sound understanding of PeopleSoft Business Process flows and transactions. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot application issues. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft Payables. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
