What would you do? The Application Automation Engineering Analyst will be responsible for building BI solutions to enhance business understanding and enable stakeholders to make informed decisions. In addition to developing and creating data visualization solutions using Power BI, the role includes data querying, utilizing analytical tools, and generating reports. It also involves providing support for the organizations business requirements related to the application and use of information from the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The candidate is expected to offer thought leadership and business analysis support as needed The Tech For Operations (TFO) team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. Works closely with the sales, offering and delivery teams to identify and build innovative solutions. Major sub deals include AHO(Application Hosting Operations), ISMT (Infrastructure Management), Intelligent Automation The reporting design & development team works on activity building professional-looking, powerful reports on the Web or on a LAN network to help run a business more efficiently and provide ongoing insight to optimize the business decision-making process.
What are we looking for? Mandate to have experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS. Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports. Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources. Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications like Sales Force using embedded analytics, or by API automation. Expert in on prem & Cloud tabular models and DAX querying. Experience working with sensitive data and row-level access controls and understand application security layer models in Power BI. Working knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data mart concepts and Expertise in data modeling for OLAP & OLTP systems from design and analysis to implementation including the conceptual, logical and physical data models. Strong experience with Power BI Services including: o Power BI Development (Visual/Interactive reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards) o Power BI Deployment Pipelines o Power Apps o Power Query and DAX o Power Automate o Power BI Administration o Enterprise Data Gateway Strong knowledge and skills of Microsoft Azure Data Platform technologies o Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store o Azure SQL Data warehouse, OLAP o Azure SQL DB, Complex SQL queries etc. 8+ years Azure developer experience Relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with day-to-day team management including onboarding, continuous training/upskilling and career development. Able to delegate tasks and assign workloads while communicating progress updates to leadership and other teams Able to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities Passionate about solving real problems Self-assured and results oriented professional with an ownership mentality Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills both virtually and in person Able to manage and support numerous complex projects simultaneously Experience working with geographically disperse teams 1. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday 2. Must possess sight/hearing/speech senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met 3. Quiet and limited distraction work from home
Roles and Responsibilities: In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of lower-complexity problems Your day to day interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors In this role you may have limited exposure with clients and/or Accenture management You will be given moderate level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments The decisions you make impact your own work and may impact the work of others You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts Power BI development and administration. Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop. Lead in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Manage and supervise all phases of a Data warehouse project life cycle that includes Scoping Study, Requirements Gathering, Architecting, Design, Development, Implementation, Quality Assurance, Application Support for end-to-end IT solution offerings in Data ware housing, OLAP. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet an enterprises business analysis and reporting needs. Should have knowledge, skills and technical vision for applications in Customer Data Warehouses employing dimensional modeling and data mining that are compatible with warehouse (OLAP) standards. Experience with In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework. Strong knowledge of relational database, proficiency in writing SQL queries stored procedure and views in SQL Server. Evaluate and improve existing BI systems. Translate business needs to technical specifications. Lead multiple project and solution simultaneously. Maintain strict data security controls and standards. Prepared queries for report development and database systems.
