API Automation Tester-pension Domain

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist with strong expertise in API Testing and Automation. Candidates with prior experience in the Pensions domain will be highly preferred.

End client: shell

Experience: 5-7 Years

Notice period: 0-25 Days

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute multiple test regimes including:
• Feature and functional testing
• End-to-end system testing
• Regression testing
• Load and performance testing
• Perform API testing to validate data integrity, functionality, and performance.
• Collaborate with QA team members to complete daily QA activities on time with a high level of quality.
• Maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) and conduct inspections of requirements and test cases.
• Manage test artifacts, metrics, and execution using TFS 2010 / 2012.
• Prepare and publish:
• Master Test Plans
• Performance Test Plans
• Work effectively across Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Drive continuous process improvements within the QA team.
• Define, implement, and enforce Quality Assurance standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in API Testing and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, and system testing.
• Experience with test management and tracking tools (TFS preferred).
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Exposure to performance and load testing.
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Pensions or Financial Services domain experience is strongly preferred.
