Anaplan Functional Consultant

Role Overview

The Offshore Anaplan Test Lead will be responsible for leading BusinessAsUsual (BAU) and change testing activities for Anaplan Workforce Planning solutions. The role will oversee offshore testing resources and act as the primary QA lead supporting Reporting Hub models and actuals processing for hourly employees.

This role requires handson Anaplan Workforce Planning testing experience and prior ownership of BAU support in a production Anaplan environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage offshore testing activities for Anaplan Workforce Planning BAU and minor enhancements.
• Own test strategy and execution for:
• Workforce Planning models
• Reporting Hub models
• Actuals data loads, including salary and hourly employee payroll and hours
• Plan and execute functional, regression, and endtoend testing cycles.
• Validate inbound actuals and workforce data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business rules.
• Review and approve test scenarios, test cases, and test evidence produced by offshore testers.
• Coordinate defect triage, prioritization, retesting, and closure with development and support teams.
• Support UAT cycles, including test data preparation, execution support, and signoff coordination.
• Provide regular status reporting, risk identification, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to QA governance, documentation standards, and release readiness criteria.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience testing Anaplan Workforce Planning solutions (mandatory).
• Proven BAU support experience in a production Anaplan environment.
• Experience supporting Reporting Hub or multimodel (Hub & Spoke) Anaplan architectures.
• Solid understanding of workforce and labor data, including:
• Headcount, FTE, payroll, and hourly employee actuals
• Experience leading offshore QA teams.
• Strong defect management and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to integrations with HR or Finance systems (e.g., Workday, SAP).
• Experience with Anaplan ALM environments and release cycles.
