AM-Internal Control (ITGC)

About the Role : We are hiring an Internal Audit & Risk Analyst to support audits, control testing, risk management, and IT compliance. The role involves evaluating business and IT processes, ensuring controls are effective, and helping meet financial and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities :

Audit & Controls:

• Draft and update SOPs and Internal Financial Controls (IFC).
• Perform internal audit fieldwork and report findings to management.
• Test the design and effectiveness of IFC controls.
• Follow up on audit findings and management action plans (ATRs).
• Document workflows, process flows, and update Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs).

Risk Management:

• Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk registers/matrices.
• Engage with teams to identify risks and mitigation steps.
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and compliance with action plans.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Analyze SOP audit scores, monitor action taken, and share dashboards with stakeholders.

IT Controls & Testing:

• Conduct ITGC testing: access controls, change management, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Perform ITGC and ITAC testing for SOX, financial audits, or internal audit engagements (especially in financial services).
• Support ICFR/SOX and IT compliance reviews.
• Ensure IT policy adherence and control documentation.

Qualifications :

Bachelors/Master's degree in Finance, Audit, IT, or related field. (CA/CISA/CIA preferred).

25 years of experience in internal audit, IFC, ITGC/ITAC testing, or risk.

Understanding of risk frameworks and internal controls.

Familiarity with SOX/ICFR compliance, especially in financial services.

Strong skills in Excel, reporting tools, and clear communication.
