Job Profile:-

KRA:-

1. Thermodynamic system design, integration & validation for New AC Models meeting given QCD Targets
2. Handling NPI Activities of of new models to meet QCD Targets, Design outputs generation; BOM making, Specifications, pefroamnce reports, Reliability Reports, Part-sub assembly & Assembly Drawaings
3. Quality Improvement & VAVE proejcts in existing products
4. New technology, new USP Introduction

Job Description:-

a. Co-ordinating and handling testing and other activities at different stages of development eg.

• System Selection & Integration
• Select appropriate Heat Exchanger & its refrigerant flow path, expansion device, fan, motor, and compressor
• Maintain BOM, Technical Specs, and reports at each stage
• Co-ordinate for Pre-pilot & Pilot making
• Perform Reliability Testing

b. Execute the project delivery by coordinating with cross functional team (electrical/electronics, Sourcing, Mfg. Plant, and Service etc.)

c. Cost Reduction Ideas Generation & Implementation

d. Quality Improvement

e. Generate novel ideas for patent and new technology/feature in AC

Requisite Qualification:-

Essential-

BE /B Tech -Mechanical Engineering

Preferred-

PG in Thermal or Refrigeration/Air conditioning Engineering

Requisite Experience:-

Essential-

4-8 year in System Balancing and Product development of Residential Air Conditioners

Preferred-

Proficient in thermal engineering and strength of material.

Special Skills Required:-

Essential :

1. Knowledge & Experience in System Balancing of Split Air Conditioners & Window Air Conditioners
2. Should be well versed with product development process
3. Should have knowledge of Part & Product Costing
4. Should be well versed with fundamental of Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Fluid dynamics and Strength of Material
5. Should be able to make development output documents, BOM, Drawings, Presentation etc
6. Should have knowledge of applicable standards for residential air conditioners

Preferred :

1. Knowledge of AC Standards for export
2. Experience in Noise & Vibration Testing
3. Knowledge of various reliability tests of product & parts of Split AC & Window AC
4. Experience in system with refrigerant R32 and R290
