Job Position (Title):AI Ops + ML Ops Engineer

Role and Responsibilities

Strategic & Leadership:

• Architect and lead the implementation of scalable AIOps and MLOps frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and data scientists on best practices in model deployment and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers, SREs, and business stakeholders to align technical strategies with organizational goals.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs for ML and AIOps services.

MLOps Focus:

• Design and manage ML CI/CD pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring using tools like Kubeflow, MLflow, or Airflow .
• Implement advanced monitoring for model performance (drift, latency, accuracy) and automate retraining workflows.
• Lead initiatives on model governance, reproducibility, traceability, and compliance (e.g., FAIR, audit logging).

AIOps Focus:

• Develop AI/ML-based solutions for proactive infrastructure monitoring, predictive alerting, and intelligent incident management.
• Integrate and optimize observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog ) for anomaly detection and root cause analysis.
• Automate incident response workflows using playbooks, runbooks, and self-healing mechanisms.
• Use statistical methods and ML to analyze logs, metrics, and traces at scale.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, MLOps, or AIOps, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python , Bash , and familiarity with Go or Java .
• Deep experience with containerization (Docker) , orchestration (Kubernetes) , and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) .
• Proficient with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm ).
• Strong understanding of ML lifecycle management, model monitoring, and data pipeline orchestration.
• Experience deploying and maintaining large-scale observability and telemetry systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with streaming data platforms: Kafka, Spark, Flink .
• Hands-on experience with Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd) for traffic and security management.
• Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Certifications in AWS/GCP DevOps, Kubernetes, or MLOps are a strong plus.
