AI Engineer – Voice AI

Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Voice AI systems. This role focuses on building, tuning, and deploying voice-based AI solutions for real-world use cases such as customer support, automation, and conversational workflows. You will work closely with product, backend, and integration teams to ship reliable, production-ready voice AI.

Key Responsibilities

Build and optimize Voice AI pipelines including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and conversational flows

Work on ASR, TTS, and voice agent orchestration for real-time and async use cases

Integrate voice models with telephony systems, APIs, and messaging platforms

Fine-tune voice models for accuracy, latency, and natural conversation flow

Design intent detection, slot filling, and dialogue management logic

Handle real-world issues like interruptions, silence handling, accents, and noise

Deploy and monitor models in production environments

Collaborate with backend and product teams to align AI behavior with business logic

Required Skills

Strong experience with Voice AI, Conversational AI, or Speech systems

Hands-on experience with STT and TTS models

Good understanding of NLP concepts and dialogue systems

Experience working with Python

Familiarity with real-time audio processing and streaming

Experience integrating AI models via APIs

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Experience with platforms like ElevenLabs, Whisper, Deepgram, Google Speech, Azure Speech, or similar

Experience with telephony systems like SIP, Twilio, Exotel, or cloud contact centers

Knowledge of LLM integration for conversational workflows

Experience with deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure

Understanding of latency optimization and scalability
