Aerospike Engineer

We are hiring for a leading IT infrastructure and managed services provider, delivering solutions across data center, cloud, and cybersecurity domains based in Mumbai.

Shift: Rotational (24/7)

We are looking at Open-source specialists with the following credentials to work as Technical Specialist along with our Delivery Team.

Deploy, configure, and maintain Aerospike clusters (Enterprise Edition) in multi-node, multi-DC environments. Manage namespaces, sets, and secondary indexes.

Implement and maintain cross-datacenter replication (XDR) and strong consistency configurations. Performance Optimization Monitor cluster performance using Aerospike Monitoring Console (AMC), Prometheus, and Grafana. Tune storage (SSD/NVMe) and memory for optimal throughput and latency.

Optimize read/write patterns and secondary index performance. Data Management Implement data lifecycle management (TTL, cold storage policies).

Handle backup/restore using as backup / as restore utilities. Develop and manage data migration plans for cluster upgrades or hardware changes.

Security Configure mTLS for secure node-to-node and client connections. Manage RBAC roles and access policies.

Automation & Scripting Create scripts (Python, Bash, Ansible) for provisioning, maintenance, and monitoring tasks. Integrate Aerospike with CI/CD pipelines for application testing. Troubleshooting & Support Diagnose and resolve cluster performance bottlenecks, node failures, or replication lag.

Required Skills

Work closely with application teams to optimize Aerospike queries and data models.

Required Skills Strong expertise in Aerospike administration in high-throughput environments (10k+ TPS, multi-TB clusters).

Proficiency with Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu). Strong knowledge of Aerospike storage engine tuning (device, memory, hybrid).

Experience with XDR replication and multi-cluster setups. Familiarity with mTLS and secure cluster configurations.

Proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash. Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana,AMC.

Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift Aerospike Operator is a plus .

Qualifications BE/B-Tech/MCA or equivalent with Computer Science or Electronic
