Job Description

Primary Skill/ Mandatory Skill: Cohesity and NetBackup

Secondary Skill / Good to have: Data Domain, Rubrik, Azure

Contract.

Is location Flexible, If Yes what are the locations we are open for: Pune and Coimbatore only

Shift Timings: 24 X 7

Management, maintenance, and support of backup solutions, utilizing various technologies like Cohesity, NetBackup, Data domain

· Knowledge and hands-on on VMware Backups. Should know how to configure VM backups, knows way around vCenter configuration, VM recovery, file level recovery, troubleshooting failed backups with all related error codes.

· SLP: Should know how to configure Optimized SLP with OST, how SLP AIR operates and how data can be recovered from Remote location

· Data Domain: knowledge on DD Configuration, DDBoost uses, MTREE creation and replication, optimized replication using NetBackup, storage unit creation and association with remote DD.

· NetBackup Master and Media Configuration. Hands-on knowledge of setting backup Master and Media servers should have an understanding of pre-requisites, compatibility, etc.

· Capacity Management. Should be capable of judging and estimating capacity needs for tapes/disk utilization

· Reporting – Should have knowledge of reporting tools like OpsCenter to create reports for management review.

· Any scripting knowledge on BASH or POWERSHELL will be an added benefit
