 Installing and maintaining the MSSQL database software.

· Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.

· Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.

· Setting up database user accounts.

· MSSQL cloud database experience with

· Training users on how to access the information in the database.

· Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.

· Creating autonomous database backups.

· Regularly updating the database security protocols.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.

· Proven work experience as a Database administrator.

· Familiarity with MSSQL database design, coding, and documentation.

· Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.

· Knowledge of programming languages and API.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to visualize algorithmic structures.

· Maintaining database dictionaries and documents Job Control Language (JCL), SQL, Perl and shell scripts and batch processes;

· Administering database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation;

· DB2 Experience;

· Reviewing project requests and determining rough order of magnitude estimate of time and cost required to accomplish scope;

· Physical Database monitoring, management, performance tuning, Database user management ((Database schemas) for Microsoft SQL Database Server); configuration and operations;

· Patches and Updates;

· performance and tuning (physical Databases);

· Database user (Database schemas) administration and security;

· monitoring

· Backup and restore.

· planning, provisioning and installations; and

· Database level cluster / HA / Disaster Recovery management Note: All Database are hosted in Oracle cloud, hence required cloud MSSQL database knowledge required along with On-premises database knowledge.
