Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant with 24 years of hands-on experience in accounting and a solid understanding of US accounting and tax concepts. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling day-to-day accounting activities and supporting compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Work on accounts payable and receivable
• Support US accounting and tax-related tasks
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Requirements

• 24 years of experience in the accounting field
• Strong knowledge of US accounting principles and tax terminology
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Exposure to US clients or US-based accounting processes
• Experience with QuickBooks.
