Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Retail Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting

activities for our retail showroom. The role requires strong exposure to retail sales

accounting, stock management, cash handling, and GST compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting for retail showroom operations

Handle sales accounting, including cash, card, UPI, and online transactions

Manage stock accounting inward, outward, transfers, stock valuation, and

reconciliation

Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with stores for stock discrepancies

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (cash, bank, card, POS)

Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to sales, stock, margins, and expenses

Handle GST compliance returns, reconciliations, and documentation

Coordinate with store managers and sales teams for accurate data reporting

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

Maintain proper documentation, vouchers, and audit support

Required Skills & Qualifications

510 years of experience as an Accountant in Retail / Showroom Sales

Strong knowledge of stock & inventory accounting

Hands-on experience with retail billing & POS systems

Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance

Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel

Ability to manage high-volume retail transactions

Strong coordination and communication skills

Preferred Profile

Experience in perfume, FMCG, fashion, or luxury retail

Candidates who have handled multiple showroom accounts

Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and control skills
