Profile Overview:


The Zonal Manager Upselling Team will be responsible for leading the field-based sales team focused on approaching existing Petpooja clients. The goal is to generate revenue through value-added services (VAS) while strengthening client relationships. The AVP will strategize and implement plans to maximize sales from the current customer base, ensuring alignment with company objectives.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Revenue Growth:


  1. Drive upselling and cross-selling strategies for existing Petpooja clients to increase revenue.
  2. Develop and execute sales plans to promote value-added services, ensuring business expansion.
  3. Analyze market trends and customer needs to optimize sales opportunities.


2. Leadership & Team Management:


  1. Lead and mentor the field-based sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  2. Conduct regular training and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
  3. Foster a culture of ownership, motivation, and excellence within the team.


3.Client Relationship Management:


  1. Build strong relationships with restaurant owners to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor, providing tailored solutions based on client requirements.
  3. Address client concerns and ensure a seamless experience with Petpoojas VAS.


4.Strategy & Execution:


  1. Design and implement sales strategies to maximize conversions from existing clients.
  2. Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive sales.
  3. Monitor and evaluate team performance, sales metrics, and client feedback to refine strategies.


5.Operational Excellence:


  1. Ensure sales operations align with company policies and CRM best practices.
  2. Track and report sales progress, forecasts, and key insights to the VP Sales & Operations.
  3. Leverage technology and automation tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: 7-10 years in field sales, upselling, client relationship management, and revenue generation.
  • Leadership: Strong team management, mentorship, and motivational skills.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to drive sales from an existing client base with a consultative approach.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of the restaurant technology sector and software solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and regional languages.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client pain points and present effective solutions.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.


Additional Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree is preferred .
  • Proficiency in using a laptop and CRM tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
