Job Title: Workday Financials Administrator

The Role:

In this role, you will partner closely with global finance teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant Workday solutions. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our Workday Financials environmentfrom configuration and QA to release management and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• System Ownership: Administer and configure Workday Financials modules (Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, C2C).
• Process Optimization: Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Procurement teams to optimize end-to-end workflows (R2R, P2P, C2C).
• Quality Assurance: Lead test strategy, execution, and validation for configurations, ensuring accounting impacts are accurate.
• Release Management: Own the assessment and deployment of biannual releases, ensuring minimal business disruption and maximizing new feature adoption.
• Troubleshooting: Serve as the functional SME, performing root-cause analysis and resolving data/configuration issues.
• Governance: Maintain robust system documentation, audit trails, and training materials.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials.
• Finance Acumen: Strong understanding of core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) and accounting principles.
• Technical Skill: Proven ability in Workday configuration, reporting, and business process design.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between IT, Finance, and internal stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Workday Financials Certifications.
• Experience in a multinational, matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with Workday integrations, security, and change management.
