Windows Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Windows / VMware / SCCM Administrator to manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, virtualization, patch management, and troubleshooting complex system issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019)
• Perform patch management and application deployment using SCCM/BigFix or similar tools
• Handle VMware administration, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Manage physical servers (HP & Dell) including firmware upgrades and hardware replacements
• Create and maintain SQL datastores in clustered Windows environments
• Support incident, change, and problem management aligned with ITIL processes
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, and implement break-fix solutions
• Ensure systems meet defined SLAs and SOPs
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers for issue resolution
• Provide support during critical incidents (24x7 availability when required)
• Maintain documentation and identify improvement opportunities
• Technical Skills Required
• Strong experience in Windows Server Administration (2012/2016/2019)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
• Experience with SCCM / IBM BigFix / Patch Management tools
• Knowledge of hardware management (HP, Dell servers)
• Experience with firmware upgrades and remote hardware troubleshooting
• Understanding of Networking and Storage (NFS, SAN)
• Familiarity with Windows Clustering and SQL datastore management
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes

• Experience in application deployment and maintenance
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
