Task Description: The Goal: Architect high-performance PostgreSQL/MySQL environments on GCP Cloud SQL that are ready for future horizontal scaling (Spanner).

Core Responsibilities:

Scalable Schema Design - Implement "Spanner-ready" patterns (UUIDs, non-sequential indexing) to eliminate write hotspots and ensure seamless future migrations.

Throughput Optimization - Tune for high-write volume and use GCP Memorystore to handle "live" scan offloading.

Performance Engineering - Proactively monitor query performance and maintain 100% data integrity.

Requirements:

5+ years in Database Engineering; 2+ years in GCP Cloud SQL.

Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

Strong background in distributed system design and high-scale data environments.

Work Result: Ensuring the application's long-term maintainability through high-performance Java design, expert-level PostgreSQL data modeling, and peer mentorship, utilizing 6+ years of Java and 4+ years of WebMethods expertise to build resilient enterprise systems.
