About the Role

At Growth Studio were not just making videos, were rewriting the way India and the world learn through podcasts and masterclasses. From creating binge-worthy content for YouTube to crafting scroll-stopping Instagram reels, were looking for a video wizard who loves storytelling, thrives on creativity, and knows how to keep an audience hooked.

We are looking for Video Editor) Primary Role and Creative Designer (Secondary Role) who can combine video editing skills with strong graphic design capabilities to support Growth Studio brand campaigns, marketing initiatives, and social media content.

Key Responsibilities

As a Video Editor at Growth Studio youll be the magician behind the screen. Heres what your day might look like:

Video Editing & Post-Production (Primary Role)

• Craft killer videos: Edit and assemble video footage for YouTube, reels, and ads to create binge-worthy content thats crisp, engaging, and visually stunning. Edit and assemble video content for marketing campaigns, reels, ads, and brand storytelling
• Execute post-production tasks including trimming, transitions, subtitles, syncing audio, and basic sound clean-up. Bring visuals to life: Add motion graphics, animations, and effects that pop, while keeping it on-brand.
• Make our ads unskippable: Work on short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media campaigns that stop the scroll.
• Maintain strong pacing, storytelling flow, and platform-friendly formats
• Create simple motion graphics, text animations, and overlays where required
• Keep it sharp: Perform quality checks on video edits, including colour correction, sound design, and final touches, to ensure every piece of content meets Growth Studio high standards.
• Experiment with AI tools: Use cutting-edge tools like Higgsfield, Replit, Nano Banana, and more to push creative boundaries.
• Collaborate & innovate: Work closely with our creative team to brainstorm, storyboard, and conceptualize new ideas for visual storytelling.

Design Support (Secondary Role)

• Create basic design assets such as thumbnails, social media creatives, and simple banners
• Support campaign creatives by adapting existing design templates into different formats
• Work with the design team to maintain brand consistency across video and static assets

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

• 13 years of experience in graphic design and/or video editing (agency, media, or EdTech preferred)
• Strong portfolio showcasing both design and video work
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma and DaVinci Resolve
• AI tools: Freepik, ElevenLabs, Gemini, Heygen/ Synthesia Higgsfield, Replit, Hera, Nano Banana
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, typography, pacing, and composition
• Ability to take direction and execute creative ideas effectively
• Strong collaboration and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams.
• Familiarity with AI creative tools (Runway, Firefly, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.)
