Technical Training Instructor

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist + AI/ML Instructor with strong industry experience and a passion for teaching. This role blends hands-on AI/ML expertise with academic delivery, focusing on training and mentoring students in real-world data science and machine learning applications.

The ideal candidate will bring practical industry exposure, contribute to curriculum development, and help students build job-ready AI/ML skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Delivery

• Deliver practical, project-based sessions on AI/ML topics including:
• Python for Machine Learning
• Statistics & Data Analysis
• Machine Learning Algorithms
• Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers)
• NLP & Computer Vision
• Generative AI & LLMs
• ML Ops
• Conduct hands-on lab sessions and workshops

2. Curriculum Development

• Design and update industry-relevant AI/ML curriculum
• Integrate real-world use cases, tools, and case studies
• Ensure alignment with latest industry trends and technologies

3. Student Mentorship

• Guide students on end-to-end AI/ML projects
• Provide code reviews, debugging support, and technical direction
• Mentor students on career paths, internships, and placements

4. Collaboration & Academic Contribution

• Work with faculty and academic leaders to enhance learning outcomes
• Collaborate with industry partners to bridge academia-industry gap

5. Assessment & Evaluation

• Design and evaluate:
• Assignments
• Projects
• Practical assessments
• Focus on real-world problem-solving and application

6. Continuous Learning

• Stay updated with latest AI/ML research, tools, and frameworks
• Bring cutting-edge knowledge into the classroom

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in:
• Computer Science / Engineering / Data Science / AI/ML or related field
• PhD (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience Required

• 46 years of hands-on industry experience in:
• Data Science / AI/ML Engineering / Research
• Proven experience in:
• Building, training, and deploying ML models
• Working on real-world AI/ML applications

Technical Skills

• Strong Python programming
• Experience with:
• Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
• TensorFlow / PyTorch
• Strong SQL and data handling
• Knowledge of:
• ML Ops tools (Git, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Expertise in:
• NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI (LLMs)
